IC:

Character name: Richard “Dick” Grayson a.ka. Robin.
Fandom: Young Justice
Timeline:
Age: 13
~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: Robin has a variety of special abilities from his training with Batman. While he does not have super powers like his friends, he has shown some very spectacular abilities. The easiest way to describe it is by saying he has “heroic level” capabilities. He might not be able to break the sound barrier like Kid Flash, but he can dodge out of firearms at close range without anything to dive behind. Which goes above and beyond what most humans are capable of.

Physical: Robin's conditioning with Batman has pushed him above and beyond what most people his age are capable of. He has shown heroic level endurance, agility, and strength. He can run and avoid explosions, get thrown into water and almost drown, only to emerge partially winded. He has also created a hole in a concrete wall by punching it with his bare fist, and caused no harm to his hand.

Trained: Robin has been trained in a variety of different martial arts, which he has combined with his acrobatic skills. Through his heroic level agility, he can jump to impressive heights, dodge bullets, tackle and trip up opponents who are considerably larger and heavier than him, and run across narrow and slippery surfaces while maintaining his balance. Additionally, he is a master of stealth. He often “disappears” from sight within the blink of an eye.

Mental: When your mentor is the World's Greatest Detective, you learn a thing or two about being a detective. Complimenting his impressive detective skills, are equally impressive mathematical, driving, and multilingualism (he speaks English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese)skills. When it comes to understanding, operating, and hacking into computers and various electronic systems, Robin is a prodigy. In the past, he has hacked into both the Justice League's systems and Cadmus, which has the technology to produce powerful clones like Superboy. Attached to his gloves, is a computer interface that creates a holographic computer.

How would they use their abilities?: For the most part, he would use his abilities for good. However, he can be immature at times and might try and hack into the system to do something silly.

Appearance: Robin has thick, black hair that he keeps short and low-key style wise, when he is in his Robin outfit. When he is at school, he tends to slick his hair backwards. He's taller than most people his age, and has a lean build. When he isn't in his costume, his vivid blue eyes are visible. His “civvies” (civilian) clothes usually consist of something casual and comfortable. He wears an array of dark hoodies, baggy pants, and shoes with good grips on. Even when he is around his trusted team mates, he wears sunglasses to help conceal his identity.

His Robin uniform is made up of a black mask that conceals his eyes, a red tunic, black pants, boots and gloves. His uniform is likely made out of the same reinforced armor that Batman's is made out of. It gives him an extra layer of protection against bullets, shrapnel, adverse weather conditions and temperatures. No matter what outfit he is in, whenever he is on a mission of some variety, he always has his utility belt handy. His utility belt has a whole variety of gadgets, including explosive batarangs, a grapping gun, eskrima sticks, tasers, and gas pellets.

Background/Personality:

You know those kids who threaten to run away to the circus? Well, Dick was never one of those kids because his family and him lived with the circus. They were known as “The Flying Graysons” of Haly's Circus located in Gotham. People used to come from all over to marvel at their acrobatic feats. On a regular basis, Dick would perform with his parents, cousin John, his aunt, and his uncle Richard, who he was named after. Life was good for the Graysons, until the mob boss Zucco tried to bully the circus owner into paying him more money for “protection.” When Haly refused, Zucco decided to make him learn the hard way.

On April 1, 2005 during the routine without the net, the rig broke after Zucco's henchmen had messed with it earlier in the day. In a matter of seconds, Dick lost everyone but his uncle. His uncle may have survived, but he was paralyzed for life and in no shape mentally or physically to look after a 9 year old boy. Billionaire Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, had witnessed the tragedy and stepped in to adopt Dick. Bruce had lost his own parents as a child through a criminal act. It was what drove him to become Gotham's crime fighter known as Batman.

The next four years of his life were spent training with Batman, as Robin. Batman was a member of the Justice League, often referred to as the "League". The League is composed of some of the most powerful superheroes on earth and beyond, that came together for the greater good of the world. While many of the other League members treated their proteges as sidekicks, Robin and Batman had more of a partnership with each other. Throughout his adventures, he met Aquaman's protege Kaldur'ahm/Aqualad. As well as Green Arrow's protege Speedy/Roy Harper, and Kid Flash/Wally West, the protege of the Flash. Flash, Aquaman, and Green are were all members of the Justice League as well. Despite becoming good friends with the team, he never revealed his identity to them (and still hasn't to this day). They simply know him as Robin (and henceforth, will refer to him as Robin for the rest of the app).

On July 4th, Batman and Robin were fighting one of Gotham's notorious villains, Mister Freeze. Once they defeated him, Batman was suppose to take Robin to the Justice's League's headquarters to get a tour. Robin, Aqualad, Speedy and Kid Flash all showed up at the Hall of Justice. While most of the “sidekicks” were excited (I put sidekicks in parentheses, because the team grows to really dislike the term and do not want to be called sidekicks any more), Speedy was upset. He called the League out and told the other “sidekicks” that this wasn't the League's real HQ. The actual HQ, the Watchtower, was up in space. Speedy had had enough of being treated as a sidekick, and said he was going to strike out on his own. He asked the others if they wanted to come with him, but they awkwardly declined.

Shortly after Speedy left, the League were called away before they could give their “sidekicks” a proper explanation. While the three remaining teens were waiting around for their mentors to return, another emergency was broadcasted. Initially, the teens set out to put out the fire that had broken out at Cadmus Lab.The team did not think there was anything particularly special about Cadmus when they first responded. However, upon investigation they discovered that Cadmus had a lot more going on than met the eye. They went deep within the complex and eventually came across a heavily locked room. Robin was able to hack into the system and get into it. When the doors opened, they discovered a young man with the Superman symbol in an incubation pod. Wanting to help him, they set the clone free. Once he was released, he called himself Superboy and then he attacked the three of them.

Things weren't going so well for them after wards. They were locked up in pods and one of the scientists, Dr.Desmond, was about to clone them. Fortunately for them, Superboy had a change of heart, after hearing their telepathic pleas for help, and rescued them. Robin was given another opportunity to show off his superior hacking skills, when he hacked the motion sensors, which allowed them to start to make their way up towards the surface. Before they were able to reach the top, they were blocked off by Dr. Desmond. Dr.Desmond ingested a serum that turned him into the monstrous Blockbuster. The four teens worked together and Robin was able to put a stop to Dr.Desmond by causing an explosion, which lead the roof to falling onto of him.

The League showed up shortly after, and were none-too-pleased with their "sidekicks”. The four of them were tired of being treated as sidekicks. They wanted to be given real missions, and form their own team. Superboy was the most outspoken, telling them to “Either get on board or get out of the way”. Batman said he needed three days to decide, and then he would give them an answer. Robin became antsy over the three days, wanting to know sooner rather than later, but Batman was not going to give them an answer until the three days were up. When he finally gave his answer, he told them that they could have their team and he would be in charge of assigning missions. The team was given the League's old base, which was hidden away in Mt.Justice, right outside of Happy Harbor. Red Tornado was assigned to watch them whenever they were in the base.

From that point on, the team had their successes, their set backs, and new members added. Not long after the team formed, M'gann M'orzz/Miss Martian joined the team. Miss Martian was the niece of another League Member; J'onn J'ozz/Martian Manhunter. The two of them were green martians from Mars. The team had a couple of set backs early on. When Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad were assigned to protect Farano Enterprises CEO, Selena Gonzalez, they lost track of her after the assassins trying to kill her, captured them. They managed to escape thanks to Robin having his utility belt on him, but unfortunately they were not able to save Selena Gonzalez. The team was discouraged but they did not give up hope. A week later, Robin, Aqualad, and Kid Flash helped Roy, who had started going by Arsenal and later on would be known as Red Arrow, defeat a villain by the name of Brick. They tried to convince him to join their team, but he wasn't interested in joining their “Junior League”.

One of their first successes as a team came when the entire team went to check out a disturbance at Happy Harbor Power Plant, and they came across Mister Twister. Miss Martian initially thought that it was Red Tornado testing them, but after he attacked them and knocked them around, they realized that was not the case. Rather than fighting as individuals, they came together as a team and succeeded in defeating him. As time passed, the team began to grow closer and trust in each other. Robin wasn't able to be as open with the rest of the team as they were with him. Everyone else shared their real names, as well as how they started to work with their mentors. Robin explained he couldn't share with them, because Batman didn't want him to. As much as Robin respects and likes his team, he did not want to break Batman's faith in him.

As time passed, the team gained another member by the name of Artemis Crock (her codename is simply Artemis). She introduced herself as the niece of Green Arrow, which Robin found strange since he had never heard of Green Arrow having a niece. Kid Flash was far from welcoming, and spent the entire time bickering with her on their next mission. They were assigned to protect a scientist by the name of Dr.Serling Roquette. Robin was more serious on the mission than he normally was, because the League of Shadows was trying to steal information from Wayne Enterprises via a nano-robotic infiltrator called The Fog. The team was able to protect Dr. Roquette and saved Wayne Enterprises, by using a virus that could wipe out The Fog.

As one can imagine, Batman was very important to Robin. Part of the reason why he wanted to be the team leader, was to follow in Batman's footsteps. Unfortunately for him, while he had more combat experience than the rest of the team, his leadership skills were lacking. The rest of the team would often find themselves annoyed whenever Robin would suddenly disappear from sight, not letting them know where he disappeared to. Kaldur ended up becoming the leader of the team, and Robin became very jealous when Batman said he wanted to talk to Aqualad, and only Aqualad. The team had previously been fighting Clayface, who wiped the floor with them, and Batman had to step in to save them.

Batman wanted to have a pep talk with Aqualad, and instructed the entire team to take some time off. Robin left in a huff, and spent his day off in the training room. He grumbled to himself about Batman only wanting to talk to Aqualad, and in his frustration, he punched a hole in the wall. Batman had been watching Robin, and sent Alfred to fetch Robin. Robin was initially defensive, but when he stepped outside and discovered Batman out of his costume and in warm up clothes. When Batman tossed him a basketball, he quickly lost his attitude. The two played basketball to “work on” Robin's hand-eye-coordination. As the scene cut away, Robin could be heard laughing and teasing Batman.

Batman was not the only person Robin teased. All throughout the series, Robin liked to tease and playfully mess around with his teammates. The next couple of missions highlighted his antics nicely. When the team was sent to Bialya, a rogue state that the League did not have protection from, they ended up having their memory wiped. Robin woke up by himself and quickly went to work on discovering what went on and how he ended up in Bialya. It didn't take him too long to catch up with Artemis, Miss Martian, and Kid Flash. Using her telepathic powers, Miss Martian was able to piece together their memories. They carried about their business as usual, and it took them way longer than it should to realize; ohey, Kaldur is not with us. Ooops.

Miss Martian took off because she had to find Superboy, he was in pain and it could not wait! The others found Kaldur and then almost get discovered by some Biaylan soldiers. Artemis and Kid Flash begin to argue when Kid Flash said to Artemis “So, I'm your ninja boyfriend?” Artemis looked shocked and then whirled around, going on about how their amnesia caused her to forget how truly annoying he was. The two continued to bicker until Robin responded with a “Get a room, you two.” He then disappeared to create a distraction. He set up a trap, and when the guards discovered it, a bunch of his explosive batarangs went off with a recording of his laughter.

Robins antics didn't stop there. Almost 3 weeks after their mission to Bialyan, Robin was starting up school at Gotham academy. Artemis was also attending school there. She didn't recognize him, but he recognized her. He ran over to her and took a picture of the two of them. He quipped “We'll laugh about this one day” before he left her alone. Later in the evening, he ran into her as he was about to take the teleporter to their base. He grinned at her and asked her what Green Arrow's niece was doing out here. She said she had just got done attending her cousin's spelling bee. Robin spelled out every response to her.

Robin might have his lighthearted and immature style, but he also knew how to keep calm and focused even during a crisis. When Artemis and Robin step through the teleported, they are met with a fireball being hurled at them. They have no idea what is going on, other than there are a couple of robots that want them to be dead. Robin shouted out instructions to Artemis and his quick thinking lead them out of danger. He downloaded the bases' blueprints onto his hologram computer and the two fled. Their escape was far from easy. They almost drowned, were constantly on the run to avoid being BBQed, and had to clear several book cases in a library to get to a secret door. While they were escaping, Robin made wise cracks and Artemis was freaking out. She stared at him in disbelief and asked him how he could be so calm in a situation like this. He told her that he had been doing this since he was nine. When he asked her if she was distraught, she was like “of course I'm distraught!” His eventual response was “Either get traught or get dead”.

The two had limited resources, and unlike the rest of the team, neither of them had super powers. However, Robin knew that the base had plenty of supplies in it, and when Artemis mentioned that their opponents were robots, it gave him an idea. He established a communication link with Kid Flash, and within 5 minutes, he put together a EMP generator that he hoped would knock the robots offline. He managed to attach the generator to a power source, but before he could set it off, he got knocked into the water. Artemis fled and began to freak out, but pulled herself together in the end. She saved the day by hitting the generator with an arrow and it sent out a massive pulse. At least they thought she had saved the day. Red Tornado showed up, knocked them all out, and took off with the two robots. The League showed up a short while later, and helped them recover. With Red Tornado being gone, the League rotated who would be their “den mother” of sorts each week.

The team experienced more highs and lows after the attack. They freaked out on Aqualad when they discovered he knew that there was a possible mole. After Red Tornados supposed betrayal, Aqualad confided in Batman that he had been told before there was a mole amongst them. Superboy overheard them with his superhearing and charged at Aqualad. During their next mission to investigate some animals that might be injected with super serum called Venom, the team constantly bickered with each other and ignored Aqualad's commands. Robin and Kid Flash took off to go do their own thing. Robin and Kid Flash, like the rest of the team, came across animals that had indeed been genetically enhanced through Kobra Venom.

It wasn't until Aqaulad had a pep talk with Captain Marvel, their designated League mentor for the week while Red Tornado was gone, that the team was able to get their act together. He contacted them telepathically and more or less laid the law down. The team got back together, defeated The Brain, and set all of the animals free. It wasn't their finest moment, but they did come together in the end. Robin asked Kaldur why he kept the mole a secret from the team. He told them he did not trust the source the information came from, and he did not want to make the team paranoid and risk turning them against each other, until he had further proof. Robin paused as he thought it over, and agreed that Aqualad had done the right thing. As soon as the team had found out, they started to turn against each other. Everyone voted on and agreed that they still wanted Aqualad as their leader.

Their next mission went much smoother. They had heard rumors about a secret society working behind the scenes, causing all the trouble the team had come across. A group of villains appeared on television one day and called themselves the Injustice League. They demanded a one billion dollar ransom. If it wasn't met, they were going to destroy the world with overgrown, violent plants. The League took on the plants, while the team took on the Injustice League. They were pushed to their limits and almost over. Kid Flash broke his arm, and Aqualad had to resort to putting on Dr. Fate's mask. In the end, they were victorious and helped save the day. Not too shabby for a team of youngsters!

The team began to feel restless. They still had no idea what was happening with Red Tornado and felt like they were being babysat.Black Canary volunteered to be their League mentor for a week. In the past, Black Canary had helped train the team in hand-to-hand combat. While she was observing a team training session, another member of the League showed up. Zatara, a powerful sorcerer, came to the base with his daughter, Zatanna Zatara (her code name is simply Zatanna). Robin took an immediate liking to her. As Miss Martial began to introduce herself, he cut her off and introduced everyone. He became tongue tied while talking to her and the two playfully flirted with each other for the rest of the day. While Zatara and Black Canary talked to each other, the team held a telepathic meeting with each other. Zatanna observed the group and eventually called them out.

Not wanting to be questioned by Zatara or Black Canary, the team said they were going to show Zatanna around. In actuality, they wanted to sneak off to track down Red Tornado. Zatanna convinced the team to take her along with them, and they headed out. Robin was pleased when Zatanna joined in his fascinating with removing the prefixes from words. He told her he was “trying to be non-chalant” and she responded with “Why? You can be as chalant as you want”. The conversation eventually shifted to trying to figure out locate how to find Red Tornado. Robin brought up that if the world's greatest detective couldn't find him, they needed to come up with a stupid theory to find him.

All attention shifted over to Kid Flash. Kid Flash did indeed have a stupid idea, that lead them to Red Tornado! The Team engaged in battle with Red Tornado, and he made quick work of them. Red Tornado wasn't the only one there. Red Tornado was there with his brothers and sister, Red Volcano, Red Torpedo, and Red Inferno. Red Volcano was running the show and it seemed like there was nothing the team could do to stop him. Things looked gloomy for our heroes, until Red Tornado and his siblings turned on Red Volcano. Red Tornado told his siblings it was true that they had never been human, but they had been heroes. Red Inferno and Red Torpedo sacrificed themselves to save the team and take out Red Volcano. Red Tornado explained to the team that upon touching his sister, he had been reprogrammed and brought here by an android version of his father. The team helped repair him and soon learned that not only had Red Tornado took on this role to help look over them, but because he wanted to learn from them how to become more human.

The team's next training session started off innocently enough. Batman and Martian Manhunter created a telepathic training session. In the telepathic mission, the team was sent to defend the world from an alien invasion. Initially, the team was unresponsive whenever one of the League members died. They started off knowing that it was nothing more than a simulated training session. Unfortunately, once Artemis “died” during the mission, Miss Martian had a powerful emotional reaction to it. Her telepathic powers took over the training session, and the team suddenly thought the training session was real.

While other members of the team, like Miss Martian and Kid Flash had more emotional reactions to what was going on, Robin remained focus. They headed to Washington D.C. And ended up in a fight with the aliens. Kaldur “sacrificed” himself to get the team back to the base. Robin then assumed the leadership role. The team broad-casted a message across the world, wanting to inspire those still fighting with hope. Robin then came up with a plan that would take them to Smallville. One by one, members of the team began to “die” as they infiltrated the Mother Ship. Superboy acted as a distraction to get the team inside, and “died” as a result.

Robin and Kid Flash went inside, it was their job to set off the explosion. Kid Flash realized that Robin knew all along that they wouldn't be able to bring back any of their friends this way. Kid Flash had held out hope that if they made their way inside of the mother ship, they'd find their friends in there. Instead he realized it was a suicide mission. Robin and Kid Flash both nodded to each other, before they rushed into the heart of the ship and caused it to explode, killing themselves. Martian Manhunter finally remembered that this was a training mission and broke the team free of Miss Martian's telepathy.

The team snapped out of the coma and were all distraught. A week later, the team was sent to speak to Black Canary for counseling. Once Robin was assured by Black Canary that nothing left their private room, he opened up to her. He told her that he had always wanted—expected to become Batman in the future. But now he didn't want to be the leader and he did not want to be like Batman. Sure, the actions he took helped save the world, but he sacrificed everything he cared about in the process. He didn't want to continue with that “at all costs” mentality.

Robin is being taken from around this time.

Personality: In some ways, Robin is what you would expect out of a typical 13 year old male. He enjoys cracking jokes, poking fun at various things, and hanging out with his friends. Throughout the series, Robin can be see brofisting Kid Flash, joking around with his friends, and causing all sorts of mischief. He also has a penchant for playing around with prefixes and suffixes. Robin might have a great deal of respect for Batman, and for most of the series he wanted to eventually become him when he was, but he opted to be lighthearted rather than serious. Robin enjoys spending time with his friends and getting a chance to be a teenager. When the team takes a break and goes to the beach, he can be seen laughing and joking around with his friends. When one almost loses their entire family, they can either either go the more stoic route like Batman, or go down the path Robin took and embrace close personal relationships.

Robin might not be as flirty as Kid Flash, but he definitely has a flirtatious side to him. When Miss Martian first joins the team, he initially tries to spend time around her. However, once Kid Flash shows an incredibly obvious interest, he backs off. Robin for the most part, seems to be relaxed around girls and likes to tease them as well. When he takes a picture with Artemis as school, his classmate Babs spots him, and appears to be jealous. She asks him why he was taking a picture with the new girl. When Zatanna enters the scene, this is the first time Robin appears to be genuinely nervous and outwardly flirty. He trips over his words when he first talks to her, and remains close to her during their entire mission. At one point, she mentions how Red Tornado never trained with her, so he doesn't know her moves. Robin then quips “I bet you have some good ones.” After he says it, he instantly regrets it and apologizes for being a “little too Wally”. When she says she doesn't mind, he flashes her a smile.

Robin's immaturity can also show up in other ways. Robin likes being a part of the team, but he's also so used to working with only one partner, that he doesn't always think about how his consequences affect the team. On a mission when they are sent to investigate an illegal super steroid called Venom. Robin disappears on the team without saying so much of a word. On that same mission, Robin nominated himself as a team leader. In the end, Aqualad was chosen over him. Aqualad explained that while Robin has the most experience, he often goes off and does his own thing. Whereas the team needs someone who is clear. Robin is disappointed but he agrees. When something really upsets him, Robin tends to respond emotionally at first. When Batman wants to speak alone with Aqualad? Robin leaves and is upset for the rest of the day. When he thinks Aqualad betrayed the team? He ignores Aqualad and goes off to do his own thing. However, once he's had some time to clear his head and given a logical explanation, he calms down and goes with the flow.

That being said, Robin knows how to buckle down and remain focused when he needs to. Since Robin was 9, Batman has helped train him to keep a cool head and keep his nerves in check. Robin was about to get mouthy, when he felt like the team was keeping them in the dark about Red Tornado's whereabouts and were sending League members in to “babysit them” Batman quickly cut him off, and said “I never joke about the missions.” Robin quickly shut up and held his emotions in check. Keeping calm helps him think on his feat and be a clutch player in crisis situations. Robin's quick thinking bought the team extra time when they were escaping from Cadmus, his forethought in Biayla helped them track down Kaldur (he set up a GPS device), and he was the one who took charge when it was just Artemis and him against Red Tornado's robot siblings. He enjoys his jokes, but ultimately he is a tactical thinker. As a result, his mind is able to process technical information at an amazingly high level for a 13 year old.

The team's recent trauma has recently changed his outlook on his future. For the past four years, he had bought into the idea that any mission they are sent on has to be completed, no matter the cost. Robin's decisions during their mental training mission lead them to victory, but all of his friends “died” in the process. He no longer wants to put the mission in front of the people he cares about. He's lost so many loved ones before, he can't handle losing anyone else he cares for. He still has a lot of respect for Batman, but he no longer wants to be Batman. He wants to pave his own future now.

1st person sample:

[What is with the world ending all of a sudden? First, he thinks the world is about to end because of an alien invasion. And now he's being told that his world blew up. After everything that's happened, he refuses to believe that this is really the end. Either M'ganns telepathy has run wild again or the League purposefully sent him here to try and avert the impending disaster.

Whatever the reason, Robin is going to take a deep breath, focus, and gain more information. Once he can start to put the pieces of the puzzle together, he can decide what he wants to do next deep.

Deep breath and it's go time.]

Seriously, what is with the people in charge here? They want me to apprehend all this information about my world coming to an end, after a ship prehends me.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has seen my friends? If you've seen them, you'll know it. [Snickers] First there's M'gann and Conner. M'gann's got red hair, freckles, and has probably offered to bake for everyone. Conner's got dark hair, tall and burly. If you turned down M'ganns baking, he probably glared at you. [Snickers again.]

Then there's Artemis and Wally. They are really easy to spot. If you see a girl with long blonde ponytail throttling a guy with red hair, that's the two of them. If a tall guy with gills is sighing and trying to separate the two of them, that's Kaldur. And then there's Zatanna. She's got dark hair, and has a knack for doing magic tricks. You'll definitely know her if you see her. She's hard not to notice.

If you run into any of them and they aren't listening to this device, let them know Rob is looking for them. That would be awesome, thanks.

3rd person sample:

A week had passed since the alien invasion mission, and Robin still see the ship in flames, the looks on his friends faces before they died, and then the explosion that he thought took his own life. His teachers had noticed that he wasn't his usual self at school. Falling asleep at night was difficult sometimes, so he woke up feeling exhausted in the morning. He was thankful that it was the weekend and he didn't have to be at Mt.Justice until later in the afternoon.

Robin was sprawled out on his bed, with only his nightstand light on. He rolled over onto his side and eyed a picture he kept on his nightstand. It was a picture of his family in their acrobatic costumes, right before a show. “Hey mom, hey dad.” He smiled briefly at the picture and picked it up, holding it over his face. What would his parents think if they knew he had sacrificed his entire team? He already knew what Batman thought. He had done exactly what Batman would have done in that situation. And hey, if that scenario had been real, he probably would have saved the world.

But there had to be another way. If they were ever in a situation like that again, he would find another way to save the day and protect the lives of his friends. “I want you guys to be proud of me too.” A smile returned to his face before it quickly faded away. He was sure that his parents were already proud of the numerous things he had accomplished already. Maybe the problem was he didn't feel proud of himself at the moment. He drew in a deep breath and set the picture back on the nightstand.

As horrible as everything that happened was, it also gave him a chance to change things. His friends weren't dead, they were there with him. This was his opportunity to become a real team player. He wanted his team to know that they could depend on him and not have to worry about him constantly disappearing. He spent the next half an hour or so thinking of ways he could improve and work better with the team. The minutes began to slip a way, and with each passing minute, his lids became heavier and heavier. Eventually sleep finally found him and he passed out for the rest of the evening.

Questions?: Would Robin be allowed to tinker around with the system, to find out more information about what goes on in the science labs, and to see if there's any truth behind the rumors about the place that can create worlds?

Did you put your characters name and fandom in the subject: Yup!
